       —Worked with an attorney to compile a 700-page timeline of the most important documents in an ongoing corporate litigation; for the last year of this project, was the sole editor, author, and proofreader of both the book version and the database version of the timeline.

       —Helped with the biannual Investrak survey of European banking, contacting over 300 investment managers and bank analysts by fax and phone.                                                                   


Dharmadhatu Meditation Center, New York (since renamed New York Shambhala Center)

     Administrative assistant, office manager, executive secretary for a 200-member nonprofit religious organization

       —Provided information to the public, coordinated calendar of events and classes, oversaw and staffed the various departments, scheduled meditation instructors and teachers, and delegated work to volunteers in every area;    

       —Set up appointments for the executive director;    

       —Handled all aspects of income, expenditures, and fund-raising, with a yearly budget of $60,000–$100,000; and

       —Organized visits and teaching tours for Tibetan lamas and dignitaries.
